Most of the information we hold is not “personal” so will not be covered by the new privacy policy, however, in the case of Sole Traders/Unincorporated Partnerships most of the information we hold will be personal and for Limited Companies/Incorporated Partnerships the privacy policy only covers personal information relating to Directors/Shareholders and Key People.

Basic account details such as company/organisation or username will be maintained for the time legally required for UK Tax Records

Our immediate priority would be to identify and isolate the breach by locking down all systems and resetting all system passwords.

 

We would notify all clients of the breach, explain what had happened and what steps we have taken to prevent any future occurrence.

 

If client data was accessed as a result of the breach of our system, we would report the breach to the relevant authorities within 72 hours as per GDPR requirements.

Should you choose to contact us using the contact form/email link on our website the data that you supply will not be stored by this website or passed/be processed by any third-party processors.  Instead, the data will be collated into an email and sent directly to us.  We will simply use this information to reply to your request.  Please note that not all mail servers are secure, so we would suggest you always consider email an insecure medium and not include personal, confidential or otherwise sensitive information.
